Add New Organisation Levels
Optimization of SAP licenses by analyzing the activities of your SAP users
You use the RSUSR010 report and you do not see all transaction codes associated with the user or role. How can that be? The various reports of the user information system (SUIM) allow you to evaluate the users, permissions and profiles in the SAP system. One of these reports, the RSUSR010 report, shows you all executable transactions for a user, role, profile, or permission. Users of the report are often unsure about what this report actually displays, because the results do not necessarily correspond to the eligible transactions. Therefore, we clarify in the following which data are evaluated for this report and how these deviations can occur.

You can find the report RSUSR010 in the User Information System under the entry Transactions > Executable Transactions (all selections). You can run the report for users, roles, profiles, and permissions as described above. We will describe the evaluation for the users below (see figure next page above); for the other selection options, the operation of the report is analogous. The RSUSR010 report identifies all transactions that a user is allowed to start. In the list of executable transactions, you can then double-click on the transaction (for example, PFCG) to view the list of authorization objects and values for that transaction.
Controlling permissions for the SAP NetWeaver Business Client
This list in the AGR_1252 table contains both the organisational fields that are shipped in the standard and the fields that you have collected for organisational fields. Unfortunately, the list does not indicate what kind of organisation field it is. But you can find out: Open the PFCG_ORGFIELD_DELETE programme via transaction SA38. The Organisation Level Value Helper (Orgebene) provides a list of all customer-specific organisation fields, because only these can be converted back to normal Permissions Object Fields. Note the implications if you want to actually run this programme.

During go-live, the assignment of necessary authorizations is particularly time-critical. The "Shortcut for SAP systems" application provides functions for this purpose, so that the go-live does not get bogged down because of missing authorizations.

If you want to know more about SAP authorizations, visit the website "www.sap-corner.de".

This allows you to see which permissions would be changed in the roles without actually doing so.
