Copy values from the Clipboard to the transaction's PFCG permission fields
Organisational allocation
Excel-based tools typically do not know the release-specific suggestion values (they often work without the in-system suggestion value mechanism, because they do not use the PFCG transaction). This also means that it is not possible to upgrade rolls with standard SAP tools, such as the SU25 transaction. This also increases the dependency on the external tool, and the authorisation system is further removed from the SAP standard and the best practices recommended by SAP in role management.

Your compliance requirements specify that background jobs that are used should be maintained with permission proposals? We'll show you how to do that. Particularly in the banking environment, there are very strict guidelines for the permissions of background jobs used for monthly and quarterly financial statements, etc. Only selected users or dedicated system users may have these permissions. In order to clearly distinguish these permissions from the end-user permissions, it is useful to explicitly maintain the permissions for specific background jobs with suggestion values, so that these values can be used repeatedly to maintain permissions and are therefore transparent. You may have noticed that in the transaction SU24 you have no way to maintain background job credentials. So what's the best way to do that?
Define a user group as mandatory field in the user root
Finally, you must evaluate and implement the results of the preparatory work. The overview allows you to determine which user needs which function groups or function blocks and to set up the permission roles accordingly. You can exclude calls to Destination NONE from your evaluation because these calls are always internal calls to RFC function blocks. In this context, we recommend that you check the mappings for critical function blocks or functional groups.

If you get into the situation that authorizations are required that were not considered in the role concept, "Shortcut for SAP systems" allows you to assign the complete authorization for the respective authorization object.

At "www.sap-corner.de" you will also find a lot of useful information on the subject of SAP authorizations.

Then call the transaction S_IMG_EXTENSION and look for the IMG structure SAP Customising Introduction Guide.
