Know why which user has which SAP authorization
Check for permissions on the old user group when assigning a new user group to a user
An overview of the actual relevant information for your system landscape can be obtained from the application System recommendations in the Change Management section of the SAP Solution Manager (transaction SOLMAN_WORKCENTER or SM_WORKCENTER). This application will provide you with a recommendation for the SAP and non-SAP hints to be implemented for the evaluated systems.

Since the introduction of the security policy in SAP NetWeaver 7.31, this report has changed. In older releases, instead of the security policy overview, a profile parameter selection page is offered in the report's startup screen. If you select Show Profile Parameters in this selection view, you will see an overview of the Profile Parameters settings in the upper half of the screen. Here you should pay particular attention to the setting of the parameter login/no_ automatic_user_sapstar and check its setting even after the switch to the security policy.
Error analysis for authorizations (part 1)
Before you start and define critical permissions, you should identify your core business processes or functions and then map the conflicting processes in meaningful combinations as so-called risk. The RSUSR008_009_NEW report cannot replace a GRC system (GRC = Governance, Risk, and Compliance) with the SAP Access Control component. Rather, this report should be understood and used as an indicator of the current system state. The report identifies the users that have the critical permission combinations defined in the USKRIA table. The identifier, which can also be called a risk ID, describes a combination of authorization objects with field names and field values. These are linked to one of the two operatives AND or OR available.

The possibility of assigning authorizations during the go-live can be additionally secured by using "Shortcut for SAP systems".

The website "www.sap-corner.de" offers a lot of useful information about SAP authorizations.

Instead, the aggregated values are entered separately in each field.
