Development
The permissions in the NWBC are handled as well as in the normal SAP Easy Access menu. For example, you can assign transactions and Web Dynpro applications to the individual and collection roles in a defined menu structure in the Role menu. The navigation structure of the NWBC reflects the menu structure and settings of the corresponding PFCG role assigned to the user. The folder structure of the Role menu directly affects the navigation bar that is displayed to the user in the NWBC.

Once the programme implementation and documentation have been completed, a functional test will always follow. A corresponding eligibility test should not be forgotten. The permission test must include both a positive and a negative permission test.

In the transaction SU01, enter a non-existent user ID and click the Create button (F8). The BAdI BADI_IDENTITY_SU01_CREATE is called with the new user ID. Implementation in the BAdI is running. For example, here you can read additional attributes to the new user from an external data source. The data collected within the BAdIs is written into the fields of the transaction SU01. This will show you the new user master set with the pre-filled fields. You can edit the user master record, such as assign roles, or change the pre-populated fields.

With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you can automate the assignment of roles after a go-live.

You can also find some useful tips from practice on the subject of SAP authorizations on the page "www.sap-corner.de".

When you copy the values from the TPCPROGS table, the TPC4 transaction is quickly configured.
