Permissions checks
Are you using SAP NetWeaver Business Client instead of SAP GUI? The arrangement of the applications on the screen is controlled by PFCG roles. The SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC) is an alternative to SAP GUI for access to SAP applications. This allows you to centrally access applications that reside in different SAP systems and have different UI technologies. The NWBC enables you to call not only transactions, but also Web-Dynpro applications and external service applications. In this tip, we will show you how to use PFCG roles to control the design of the NWBC user interface.

If a user is assigned SAP_ALL, he has all permissions in an ABAP system. Therefore, particular care should be taken in the dedicated award of this entitlement. SAP_ALL can be generated automatically when you transport authorization objects. The SAP_ALL_GENERATION parameter must be maintained in the PRGN_CUST table.
Limit character set for user ID
Two other very important settings are the activation of the security audit log and the table logging. Both parameters must be activated in order to ensure traceability at the user level as well as at the table level. It should therefore be checked whether the detailed settings for the security audit log are set up in accordance with the company's specifications and, in any case, whether all users with comprehensive authorizations, such as SAP_ALL, are fully covered by the logging without exception.

If you get into the situation that authorizations are required that were not considered in the role concept, "Shortcut for SAP systems" allows you to assign the complete authorization for the respective authorization object.
