Query Data from a Local Table
Correct settings of the essential parameters
If the changes to your SU24 data have not been detected with step 2a, or if you have imported transports from other system landscapes into your system, you have the option to reset the timestamp tables and start again. To do this, run the SU24_AUTO_REPAIR report in a system that is still at the state of the legacy release so that the modification flag is set correctly (see tip 38, "Use the SU22 and SU24 transactions correctly"). Subsequently, you create a transport and transport your SU24 data to the system, which is at the state of the new release. Now delete your timestamp tables. You can use the report SU25_INITIALIZE_TSTMP. Starting with SAP NetWeaver 7.31, you have the choice to set the reference time stamp from the SU22 data or delete the contents of the time stamp tables. You can then run Step 2a again.

In the only method of the BAdIs, CHANGE_ITEMS, programme the necessary checks, such as on specific data constellations or permissions. These can refer to all fields in the FAGLPOSX structure. You do this by specifying that all lines for which the test was not successful will be deleted during the execution of the method. This implementation of the BAdIs complements the Business Transaction Event 1650 described in the second example. You can also use the FB03 transaction to display receipts in the same way that you implement the FB03 filter. In this case, implement the required checks in the BAdI FI_AUTHORITY_ITEM.
Permissions with status
For even more extensive operations on jobs, there must be an authorization for object S_BTCH_ADM, in which the field BTCADMIN (identifier for the batch administrator) has the value 'Y'. This allows cross-client operations on any job. S_BTCH_ADM with value 'Y' thus also contains the objects S_BTCH_JOB action * and S_BTCH_NAM and S_BTCH_NA1 with user/program = *. Therefore, this is a very critical authorization because it allows an identity change. With the changes mentioned in note 1702113, the S_BTCH_ADM object can be used to restrict the authorization assignment more precisely.

Authorizations can also be assigned via "Shortcut for SAP systems".

If you want to know more about SAP authorizations, visit the website "www.sap-corner.de".

They include two switches for customising in the SSM_CUST table.
