Query the Data from an HCM Personnel Root Record
Security Automation for SAP Security Checks
This solution is only available with a support package starting with SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.31 and requires a kernel patch. For details on the relevant support packages, see SAP Note 1750161. In addition, the SAP Cryptographic Library must be installed; but this is ensured by the required kernel patch. Only if you have manually made a different configuration, you must check this requirement.

First, consider the transport of your proposed permissions from various development systems to a consolidation system. When you save permission proposal values in transport orders, you will notice that generic entries are used instead of detailed BOMs. These generic entries mark all applications, for example, with TR*..

The applications (transactions, Web-Dynpro applications, RFC building blocks, or Web services) are detected through their startup permissions checks (S_TCODE, S_START, S_RFC, S_SERVICE) and can be placed in the role menu of your role. In your role, go to the Menu tab and import these applications by clicking Apply Menus and selecting Import from Trace. A new window will open. Here you can evaluate the trace and view all recognised applications in the right window. To do this, click the Evaluate Trace button and select System Trace (ST01) > Local. In a new System Trace window, you can specify the evaluation criteria for the trace, such as the user using the Trace field only for users or the time period over which to record. Then click Evaluate.

"Shortcut for SAP systems" is a tool that enables the assignment of authorizations even if the IdM system fails.

The website "www.sap-corner.de" offers a lot of useful information about SAP authorizations.

One or more persons can hold a role and thus have the access authorizations assigned to the role.
