Save time, money and nerves with "Systemcopy as a Service
Before shutting down the target system
There are now a number of tools that simplify refresh activities of non-production SAP systems. The tools are imported into SAP systems via transports and enable the data to be copied to be written in. The more precise the selection, the greater the potential savings in storage space and extraction time compared to client copy. As with the latter, the configuration is retained and ongoing development and test processes remain undisturbed.

Often, the development and test systems of an SAP landscape are far removed from the status of the productive systems used on a daily basis: Outdated developments, customizing settings and master data reduce the quality and trustworthiness of test and emergency scenarios. It also becomes increasingly difficult to make reliable statements about the behavior of the production system after changes in customizing.
Consistency of database disk blocks - stopping I/O activities or executing DATABASE BEGIN ONLINE BACKUP command, flushing cache, etc.
Today, thanks to tools for creating SAP system copies, it is possible to create such system duplications practically at the push of a button, and that too in a very short time. Even several at once.

With "Shortcut for SAP Systems" a tool is available that simplifies the SAP system copy and offers additional possibilities.

The Migration Monitor stores the state of the export or import process in the {ex|im}port_state.properties file.
